Why play it
Priests are the most complete healer: shields, renews, dispels, and resurrection. Solo leveling is better than its reputation thanks to wand damage and Spirit Tap, which turns kills into mana.
Leveling reality check
Wand-plus-Spirit-Tap is the classic low-friction path. Shadow is more engaging but wants hit gear before it feels good.
Dual spec at 40
Holy or Discipline for groups, Shadow for solo and PvP. Healers are always in demand — you will never wait for a group.
