Cozy Sleeping Bag Guide

Cozy Sleeping Bag Guide

World of Warcraft: Forever · Beta

Get a cozy sleeping bag in World of Warcraft: Infinite: Every stop from Westfall and Barrens to Thoradin's Wall, complete with maps, coordinates and rewards, plus how the sleeping bag and trail mix actually look in the beta client.

The

comfortable sleeping bag returns in World of Warcraft: Infinite. Spread it anywhere, lie in it and rest: 1% more experience after one minute, up to 3% more after three minutes. The bonus lasts for two hours.

It follows the quest chain of the Season of Exploration, with no real quest giver: you have to find and click on a series of hidden objects across Azeroth, from Westfall and the Barrens all the way to Thoradin's Wall.

14 level can start this quest chain, both Alliance and Horde can. Along the way, you'll also pick up two 12-slot backpacks and a ranged weapon of your choice. This guide details each step, with map locations and rewards.

Task chain

This task chain will span two continents: the routes of ships and airships are on the world map. The numbers on each picture correspond to the steps below.

Western Wilds and Barrens

Each camp starts on its own continent and ends on another. The charred remains were the charred body of a traveler, with a nailed wooden board standing next to it.

A pile of dirt — Climb up the hill to the north of the camp. There is a pile of dirt at 39.6, 49.9, and there is a gap to jump over. Click on it: Hand over the mountains and get down to the dirty work.

Optional: The fire pit in the center of the camp will begin to reignite. Use the Stepping Stone to light a fire with your regular firewood and flint and tinder, which will be returned to you. The task chain does not require this step.

Burning Sun Stone House is the stronghold of the tribe: Alliance players will pass near the guard.

Sleeping bag

Roll out the sleeping bag
You need to stand still for 15 seconds. The sleeping bag will be left on the ground for 20 minutes and can be laid out again after an hour.
Bonus
Every time you lie down for a minute, you will get a stack of full energy: 1% more experience points from kills and missions, up to 3 stacks. Energetic lasts two hours, twice the cooldown of a sleeping bag, so you can always maintain 3%: spread out your sleeping bag every one to two hours and lie down for three minutes.
Two hours, not one hour
Other strategies say the bonus lasts for one hour. In the Beta client it lasts two hours (7200 seconds), the same as Season of Exploration: one hour is the sleeping bag's cooldown.
Resting state
Some players said that lying in a sleeping bag is considered a resting state, just like being in a hotel. We haven't verified it yet.
Mixed dried fruits
Dry food on the road, not a rest experience. During the exploration season, eating it will also give rest experience. This effect is no longer available in the Beta client of "World of Warcraft: Infinite": now eating a handful will instantly restore 500 points of health, and then restore 1050 points within 12 seconds, and restore 900 points of mana, 50 points of rage or 100 points of energy. You can eat once every 5 minutes, and you can stack up to 30 pieces. Over the Mountain and the last mission will both give you some.
